If you’re looking for a quick and easy party favor for your 4th of July celebrations, this is it! We’re sharing a simple 4th of July candy tube fireworks favor by Jen of Banner Events that is adorable and versatile, not to mention inexpensive and easy to assemble. In just 3 steps, you’ll have favors guests will love!
Step 1: Fill the candy tubes with candy.
Step #2: Adhere patriotic ribbon around the top of the tube with hot glue.
We took a piece of our favorite patriotic ribbon and wrapped it around the tube to determine the proper length and then snipped it down to size before gluing. Using a hot glue gun, we added a dab of glue to each end and gently pressed down on one end of the ribbon as we wrapped it around the top of the tube. Be careful that you don’t glue the ribbon to the tube lid. We adhered our ribbon just below the lid so that the tube could still be easily opened and closed.
Step #3: Adhere metallic star garland strips to the candy tube lid using hot glue.
We cut 1-2 ” pieces of the red, white and blue metallic star garland and slightly bent one end to allow for more surface to glue to the lid of the candy tubes. We added a dab of hot glue and carefully pushed the metallic star strips into the glue, holding them in place until the glue started to dry (about 20-30 seconds)
Repeat this process as needed to achieve the number of 4th of July candy tube firework favors desired for your 4th of July celebration.
Happy 4th of July!
