Dressing up for a party is such a fun way to tie in the theme. Kara’s sweet birthday girl is wearing a Great Stitch shirt! If you love the jumbo balloon her daughter is holding, Kara purchased a clear 36 inch balloon at Party Galaxy and then stuffed the balloon with confetti. She attached an adorable paper circle garland from Tutu’s & Bowties.
Kara included this darling welcome poster in the art party printable collection she designed. It immediately sets the tone for one creative party! All of Kara’s printables were printed by PrintMy –an online printing company!
I really loved all of the different garlands Kara used for this set up! Here is another awesome TuTu’s and Bowties paper garland paired with a super easy and affordable DIY paintbrush garland! Tutorial HERE!
Don’t you just love the gorgeous cake? Fondant “gumballs” and tulle poms in the rainbow colors really pop against the white cake. Kara added a creative display by setting a white paint palette to the top of her cake stand! What a perfect way to display a cake at an art party.
These delicious RiceKrispy Paint Brushes were made by Sweet You Off Your Feet and the kids LOVED them!
Using paint cans filled with colorful rainbow gumballs is a creative favor idea, don’t you think?
Paint palette cupcake stands were such a genius way to serve up cupcakes! The wooden palettes were made by the amazing Ten23Designs.
The stunning tulle pom pom toppers were made by TiTi’s TuTu’s. Combined with printable cupcake wrappers, it was a cute way to transform store bought cupcakes!
Candy kabobs are definitely a party trend. Kids love them. We do too! They make a great décor piece and treat! These “bobs” were made by Sweets From Heaven, Outlets At Orange.
A rainbow art party cake requires some rainbow layers on the inside! The bottom was lined with colorful fondant balls, but you can also use gumballs to make it even easier! The Pom Pom Topper was also made by Titi’s Tutu’s.
Cake pops are a party staple! These splatter paint cake pops were made by The New York Cakepopery!
Don’t you just love all of the bright colors? The fabric garland masterpiece is another creation from Tutu’s & Bowties!
Candy letter dishes are a fun way to add some pop of color to your table! (You can buy them in our shop.) Easily fill them with any small candy like gumballs, jelly beans, Sixlets, Skittles or M & Ms. Spell out a name or your theme to easily coordinate your party!
While some people forget to consider decorating the overhead space, Kara added festiveness by hanging colorful paper lanterns!
With all of the crafting going on, guests needed something to protect their clothing. Kara provided each guest with an art apron! She purchased the aprons at Hobby Lobby on sale and sent them to the amazing Brenda of Great Stitch for customization.
Kara designed each place at the activity area with plenty of creative things to do. Notice how even the placemats were covered in different frames, prompting the guests to draw and doodle whatever they were inspired to do. First, guests could paint a canvas. First, girls could pain their canvas. Kara purchased canvases and paintbrush packs in bulk. So that each girl had a small supply of water at her seat, she used baking cups from Celebration Lane . Next, guests could sketch portraits in their sketchbooks with the colored pencils provided at each table.
Darling centerpieces dressed up the table. You can find them in Kara’s printable collection.
Kara used the popular French milk bottles from our shop to make the perfect art party drinks! She added colored ice cubes made with food coloring and water into our bottles filled with Sprite. Rainbow colored paper straws from Celebration Lane were topped with printable palette cutouts.
These canvas inspired cookies made by the talented Sweet Baketique were a huge hit with the little artists! The cookies were displayed on mini easels and functioned as place cards. Using food safe markers, the girls decorated their own cookies to take home.
Favor bags were purchased at the dollar store so that party guests had a way to easily take all of their goodies home. They look especially cute with custom “thank you” tags.
