valentines day place settings

Sweetly Chic Events started off by creating a cute little table for their children to enjoy a festive themed snack! Not only was their setup cute, it was easy and affordable to make too! Using some fabulous party supplies, they assembled some darling DIY place settings. They added some cookies, candy and hearts for that Valentine’s Day feel.

To create this adorable set up they used several items from our Hoopla Events Etsy Shop!  They transformed their Pottery Barn Kids table from an arts and crafts table to a party table! To create this colorful place setting, they used some red and white striped paper plates, pink and white polka dot favor bags, red polka dot napkins, pink and red striped treat cups, some adorable straws and a plastic square milk bottles. They added a few simple details to add some Valentine’s pizzazz to the paper goods.  So cute!

To complement the sweet décor, they called upon cookie designer extraordinaire, Linda of Frog Prince Cake & Cookie Design! Her conversation heart cookies are perfect!

To add some Valentine’s Day flair to the square milk bottles and straws, Sweetly Chic Events added gold glittered hearts from My Bride Fairy as a quick and easy embellishment. They transformed ordinary milk into something more exciting with a few drops of food coloring.

Treat cups were filled with red, pink and white shimmer Sixlets from Sweetworks.  To add that coordinated Valentine look, paper straws were cut into 3rd and accented with gold glittered hearts.

Gold glittered hearts were also used to create adorable custom paper napkin wraps.  Napkins and wooden spoons all dressed up and oh so cute!

valentines day tassels

We added some pink and fuchsia tassels that we found at Target to the backs of the chairs as a festive detail that the kids just loved!

valentines day favor bags

Finally, Sweetly Chic embellished favor bags with petite red adhesive hearts to store extra conversation heart cookies!  What a fun treat to surprise your kids with in their lunchboxes!
